As I told you like a month ago and is FINALLY being confirmed, the US and England will be playing a friendly at Wembley assuming the final details ($$$$) can be worked out. The match up will be in May.
On June 8th, they will take on what will most likely be a full strength Argentina in NY according to the Argentine Federation at Giants Stadium.
I hope and pray they actually do a good job of sodding that horror show of a stadium but I don’t hold out great hopes. It really is one of the worst places to see a soccer match in the US. It’s a shame it wasn’t done in Pasadena or at the Coliseum in LA.
The USMNT will play Spain that same week as well.
Nothing to dislike about the schedule. This is the type of ass kicking the USMNT has needed that never came in the Bruce Arena era. As Luis Bueno pointed out on Sideline Views, his idea of a warm up for WC06 was Latvia. Right…
I just hope this kind of quality continues and we keep giving ourselves the sternest tests we can get in preparation for WC10.
